We founded The NSXperience in 2021 to demystify Singapore’s Army culture in a fun, relatable and exciting way every Singaporean can understand and enjoy.
We distilled all the iconic moments in BMT, the catchy lingo that was commonly used, as well as the punishments that were dealt to us. From there, we created a card game that captures the essence of National Service and all its highs and lows, inside jokes, references, and stereotypes.
In line with our effort of inclusivity, not only did we want army recruits to enjoy this product, we also wanted people who have not been in the army before to play and obtain a rare glimpse into army culture. We set out to bridge the NS experience gap between those who have been through the army and those who have not.
We hope that our home grown card game (designed with a lot of love and care!) can facilitate discussion and encourage bonding opportunities on the topic of NS between friends and within families.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us from our humble beginnings on Kickstarter, to making our dream a reality! Now our field pack inspired packaging can be found in various retail stores across the island. GLHF!!!

🥳 We're gearing up to launch a digital version of CHAO RECRUIT! on a multiplayer online gaming platform. And guess what? It's ready for BETA TESTING, and we want YOU to be part of this exciting journey with us!
🔎 Who We're Searching For:
If you're between the ages of 14 - 21 (ideally you’ve yet to enter NS!) with a passion for gaming, a trusty computer, and a solid wifi connection, then you're exactly the player we're searching for! We're looking for both boys and girls who are willing to commitment to participate in 2 fortnightly play testing sessions, conducted between October to December/January (weekends only!). These sessions can be enjoyed online or in person, starting from the week commencing 16 October 2023.
Further information regarding play testing sessions will be forwarded to you upon completing your registration.

As a beta tester, your role is vital in shaping our game into something extraordinary. We expect you to...
- Play the Game: Dive into our game and immerse yourself in the virtual world of CHAO RECRUIT! Experience it to the fullest!
- Provide Feedback: After each play testing session, we’ll ask for your thoughts and feedback. Tell us what you liked, what can be improved. Your insights are gold to us!
- Bug Reporting: If you come across any glitches, bugs, or unexpected behaviour, let us know in detail. Your keen eye helps us squash those pesky bugs.
- Engage in Discussions: You’ll join our community of beta testers to share your experiences, insights and ideas. Collaboration is key to making the game even better!
- Enjoy Exclusive Access: You’ll be one of the first to get exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the game development process. Your feedback directly impacts the game’s evolution.
